The Smallest Person I Know
Its 11am and I am sitting here in the waiting room at the Shawnee Birthing Center as I am writing this. Somehow, I have managed to patiently wait for the A-Okay to walk in and meet the newest addition of the family.
At 10:11 on Friday, March 6, 2015, not even an hour ago, I received a text message from my cousin Chase. It says "8lb 8 oz, 20 1/2", 10 fingers and toes and happy as can be" attached with a picture of a healthy faced little girl named Addilyn Hope. My eyes automatically started filling up with tears; happy tears. I am leaving for Chicago in two hours so I came straight to the hospital. My camera is ready and the patience is already wearing off...
