Today, on April 2nd, my mom would have turned 55 years young. This month also makes it five years since she has been gone. There's so many things that I could say about her, the endless stories that I could tell, or attempt to list all the drama she managed to get herself into. However, if you ever met my mom you would know that it would take much more than one blog posting :)

Her death was very sudden; only having hours to live. She was living in Texas at the time and I was on the next flight out when I got the news. By the time I had arrived to the hospital we were able to share our last twenty minutes together. She knew who I was and I wouldn't let her go. Mom kept breathing for three days after that, but I knew that she was completely brain dead. Like she always did, even then on her death bed, she fought hard till the end just so I could show up and say goodbye.

She was so many things to so many people. I was just lucky enough that she was My Mom.

Until next time. Peace. Love. Pictures.
