My dear friends Joe and Abbie Backes have recently opened their lifelong dream:
A Coffee House and B&B in Carrollton, MO.
It has been exciting watching all their hard work and seeing the before and afters along the way.
So, if you ever need to have a getaway weekend from the big city and relax in a small town I highly recommend their cozy inn, their delicious coffee and their good company!

The busy season is slowing down for us photogs, and it has been a great one. I have met some of the kindest people along the way and not only grateful for their business, but also their friendship. I don't think I could ever find anything more rewarding in life than having the opportunity to create and share other peoples memories.
There is nothing like sitting around with your family and going through boxes and boxes of old photos. Well, I want to be the person that fills those boxes up.
I'd like to thank you for business, your word of mouth, and the opportunity to work with you. For that, I'm thankful. I will be spending time with my family and friends and I hope you will be doing the same.
But, first I will be catching up on some much needed sleep.
Feeling neglected the last couple of months, Roxy Rae wanted to end the year with her very own Photo Session. {free of charge, of course}. She must get this from her father: but, I never met the guy.
I was told, more like threatened, to cut out a few greys and to thin her waistline... Then she choked on a treat.

The winter chill is creeping in, but it didn't keep this family from stepping outside for some sweet moments and beautiful photos.
